On the morning of March 3 (Vietnam time), the Oscar awards ceremony took place, attracting the attention of global audiences.
The first category was announced as Best Supporting Actor. Actor Robert Downey Jr. - who won this category last year - read the names of this year's award recipients.
Downey named Kieran culkin for his role in "A Real Pain". The results were not surprising because Kieran culkin was already considered the most likely candidate.
He surpassed Yura Borisov of "Anora", Edward Norton of "A Complete Unknown", guy Pearce of "The Brutalist" and Jeremy Strong of "The Apprentice" to get a prestigious gold statue in his career.
Expressing his thoughts, Kieran culkin sent his thanks to his family and colleagues. The comedian talks about his wife agreeing to have a fourth baby if he wins the Oscar.
Kieran culkin is the younger brother of Macaulay Culkin - once famous for his role as a boy in the movie "At Home alone".
"A Real Pain" follows two American cousins of Israeli descent, David Kaplan (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran culkin). They arrived in Poland after their grandmother passed away to explore the family's heritage and face painful memories from the past.

Actress Zoe Saldaña burst into tears when receiving the Best Supporting Actress award. She is the first Dominican-American to receive the Academy Award. "But I know I won't be the last," the actress emotionally shared.
Up to now, films with many nominations at the 2025 Oscar such as "The Substance", "Anora", "Conclave", "Wicked"... have had their first victories.
"Anora" did not win in the Best Supporting Actor category but won 2 awards. Sean Senior's work is also one of the strong candidates for the Best Drama award - the most important category at the Oscar Awards.
