In the program The weekend date, Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh shared about his difficult childhood. He choked up as he mentioned his deceased father.
Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh is the eldest child in a family of 7. He went through many ups and downs, struggling since he was a child to take care of his family and take care of his younger siblings with his parents.
"Since I was 13 years old, I started a business, going through many ups and downs, bitterness, resentment, and resentment... Up to now, my life has been quite miserable, but I don't want to say it because when I say it, it only makes my brothers and family sad and think a lot. My family has 7 sisters and I am the eldest child, so I have to worry and take on many household chores," the artist recalled.
As the eldest brother in the family, artist Xuan Hinh has been responsible since childhood, helping his parents from small things such as cooking rice, sweeping the house, washing dishes... to business, and partly supporting the family economy.
The artist talks about the days when he studied the stage and did business. He once changed clothes, bought scrap gold from people who dug it under the river, and brought it back to the city to sell for money to make ends meet.
Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh shed tears when talking about his late father: "The most regrettable thing is probably when I became famous and successful, my father could not witness it. After graduating, earning some money, the first thing I thought of was building a grave for my grandfather, then buying a house".
In the program, Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh also met Thanh Thanh Hien and recalled her many years of working.
Thanh Thanh Hien recounted her first impression of Xuan Hinh when she first went to see him perform the play Chuyen tinh hoa thu: "Hien felt so good that I ran straight to the dressing room. Mr. Hinh looked at Hien, a bit cold, laughed ichorarily and then left. I don't know if he knew who I was at that time... But then, he took the initiative to find Hien to work with."
Meritorious Artist Thanh Thanh Hien commented that his senior is an extremely referee, who is dedicated to working with anyone, but everyone must be good. The standard for artist Xuan Hinh to choose a co-star is: must be good, must be beautiful, must be decent.
Thanh Thanh Hien also revealed that for Xuan Hinh, choosing a co-star is something he is extremely careful about: "Whoever has a spirit and talent is talented, he will look at it right away. No matter what you do, you have to do your best. From music, sitting, and winking, he has very specific requirements."
The understanding between the two artists on stage made many audiences mistakenly think they were a real couple. Meritorious Artist Thanh Hien recounted a ironic situation: "Someone called Xuan Hinh's phone, his wife, Ms. Lan, answered. The other person said: 'I'll meet Thanh Thanh Hien, Xuan Hinh's wife for a while'. But Mr. Hinh's family is always warm and home, his wife is never jealous".
Artist Xuan Hinh added: "What needs to be explained is to the audience, not to my wife. But in the past, there was no Facebook so we kept quiet."
