Recently, fans discovered that Rose (Blackpink) quietly established her own company with her sister who is a lawyer. The company's registered name is Dream APT Korea Co., Ltd, headquartered in Seoul (Korea). Rose's sister - Alice (Park Ji Young) holds the role of company president.
Previously, in 2024, Rose founded two companies in the US called DREAM APT. LLC and DREAM APT PUBLishING LLC. These companies operated before the singer released her studio album rosie in November of the same year.
Notably, the three companies in Rose's Dream APT system focus on publishing rights management (copyright), income control, tax management, and brand partnerships.
This is a different direction from the other 3 members of Blackpink. Jennie founded OA Entertainment, Lisa founded LLOUD and Jisoo founded Blissoo.
Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo's company has a similar model, which is to manage artists' activities and participate in artistic creation, outlining artistic development strategies. These 3 companies all have websites and public social media accounts for promotion.
In contrast, Rose's company mainly coordinates in protecting intellectual property rights, legality and finance. Therefore, these companies do not have public social media accounts.

Instead, the company responsible for art direction and development, as well as coordinating music production and solo promotion activities of Rose is The Black Label - signed an artist management contract with Rose in June 2024.
In addition, Rose has signed a contract with the American record label Atlantic Records (under Warner Music Group). This record label is responsible for releasing and promoting Rose's music products in the global market, especially in the US and Europe.
In November 2024, the singer continued to sign a global management agreement with Warner Chappell Music (WCM) - a music publishing company under Warner Music Group, mainly managing Rose's copyright and music publishing issues globally.
It can be seen that Rose has a methodical and long-term orientation for her solo career.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the APT. singer withdrew from the Korea Music copyright Association (KMCA), transferring copyright management to US publishers.
The media analyzed that Rose's decision was to reduce the cost of copyright management in Korea, as she is actively working in the US.
Recently, to prepare for the 2026 Grammy Awards, Rose has continuously appeared on American TV shows and attended music festivals in the US.
Rose has submitted 10 nominations to the Grammy. In which the hit APT. featuring Bruno Mars was nominated in 4 categories including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Combination and Best MV.
The official nomination list for Grammy 2026 will be announced on November 7, the awards ceremony will be held on January 2 next year.
