The National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day with the theme "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" officially opened for free to serve the people and visitors from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
The opening ceremony took place this morning, August 28, with the participation of about 6,000 domestic and international delegates, broadcast live on VTV and VOV.
This is one of the first major events held at the National Exhibition Center - the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia, in the Top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world.
The exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" introduces the country's outstanding achievements over 8 decades of construction, protection and development, while arousing national pride, creating motivation for a new period of prosperity and prosperity.
This is also an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic Vietnam, deeply integrating with international friends, affirming the stature of our country to rise up to welcome the new era.
The exhibition with the largest space and display content ever along with a series of unique programs and activities promises to be an attractive destination.
In terms of space, the organizing committee arranged a center- oriented exhibition. In the central position of the exhibition, the exhibition is an area recreating important events, historical milestones and outstanding achievements of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, with the theme "95 years of the Party's flag rising the road".
This space is divided into 9 halls, leading visitors through the journey through historical periods.
In addition to the general indoor exhibition subdivision, there is also an outdoor exhibition subdivision including the following courts: East, West, South, North with a total area of 155,000m2.
The audience will admire aerospace products, flight tables, aircraft models, satellites... at the Western Stadium with the theme "Aspiration for the Sky", or come to the Southern Stadium with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security holding an exhibition with the theme "Youth and the shield".
Fairs, cuisine, entertainment and experience activities will be held at Dong Stadium and the space for performing art programs will be located in Bac Stadium.
The international exhibition district and 12 cultural industries are located at Block A Exhibition House.
In terms of content, the exhibition introduces and displays the country's outstanding achievements in many fields such as industry - technology, investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; healthcare, education; culture, sports and tourism.
In particular, the exhibition also introduces the culture of 54 ethnic groups, natural resources of the three regions and typical architectural works of the past and present.
During the exhibition, many artistic activities, forums, and seminars will be held, all of which are free of charge for the public.
The organizing committee will present 50 films for free to the audience, and organize many exchanges with the film crew and actors.
The exhibition items, designs and security plans were completed before the opening of the National Achievement Exhibition.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized the need to ensure traffic flow, avoid congestion, and protect absolute safety for delegates and visitors.
