Accordingly, as of 5:00 PM on July 30, 2024, the deadline for online application registration, the Ministry of Education and Training's common admission support system recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their application preferences, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registered for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their application preferences on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registered for the 2023 high school graduation exam.
Previously, in 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training recorded more than 616,000 candidates registering for university admission, accounting for 64.1% of the number of candidates registered for the 2022 high school graduation exam.
After the online application registration portal closes, from July 31 to 5:00 PM on August 6, candidates who have registered their university application preferences on the common system will pay the application fee online through the National Public Service Portal. This is a very important step for the application preferences to be officially valid.
The registration fee is 20,000 VND per preference. Candidates must pay the corresponding amount for the number of preferences they register.
The Ministry of Education and Training divides candidates from 63 localities into 6 groups to pay the application fee. Each group pays the fee on a specific day.
