On October 1, the National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang province had a meeting with voters before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Long My town.
Attending the event were Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Hau Giang Province; Mr. Nguyen Van Quan - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Representing the National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang province, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - reported on the expected outline of the content of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly and some activities of the National Assembly Delegation since the 7th Session until now.
At the meeting, voters were excited and appreciated the success of the session with innovations and improvements in the activities of the National Assembly. At the same time, they expressed their agreement with the results of responses to opinions and recommendations from the National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang province.
Voters also made recommendations on a number of issues related to the Party and State's policies and guidelines related to universal health insurance; social insurance; and land-related issues.
In the field of education, voters recommended strengthening management and close supervision to ensure the quality of preschool teachers with sufficient expertise and knowledge to work, avoiding cases of child abuse. At the same time, it is also necessary to ensure the lives of preschool teachers so that they can stick with their profession.
Regarding healthcare, voters said that it is necessary to pay attention to the salary and benefits for doctors and medical staff to retain these forces as well as ensure the people's need for medical examination and treatment...
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Hau Giang Province - said that the meeting aimed to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of voters on the common development issues of the country, including Hau Giang; people's rights and contributions to participating in draft laws so that the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies can convey them to the National Assembly. From there, practical draft laws will be brought into life for people to better implement as well as take care of people's rights.
The meeting received 9 opinions from voters. In which, the provincial departments, branches and sectors and the Secretary and Chairman of the Long My Town People's Committee responded and acknowledged the opinions of the people. The delegation also requested that, with issues affecting the rights of the people, local leaders need to be extremely responsible, share and resolve promptly. As for opinions under the authority of the Ministries, the delegation has noted and will continue to make recommendations in the next session.
