After 120 minutes of doing the Literature exam, more than 320 candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site completed the first exam.
According to PV's records, at the time the candidates finished their exam hours, it was raining heavily. Hundreds of parents were holding umbrellas waiting to welcome their children. Despite the heavy rain, the atmosphere at the exam site was still quite orderly, parents patiently waited while the candidates left the exam rooms one by one.
After leaving the exam site, candidates rushed home to prepare for the Math exam this afternoon.
A candidate said that this re-exam was not too difficult, the basic content closely followed the program and the parts that had been reviewed.
According to candidates, the questions are clearly distributed, some questions have a higher level of application. The exam ensures differentiation from recognition, understanding to application.
The Literature exam for the 2026 high school graduation exam - the 2nd time at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site is built according to a structure consisting of two parts: reading comprehension 4 points and writing 6 points.
The reading comprehension section uses argumentative texts on "cultural security", including 5 questions with increasing requirements.
The first two questions mainly test the ability to identify the thesis and exploit information directly from the text. Question 3 requires explaining the meaning of the word in context. Question 4 aims to identify and generalize the author's point of view.
Meanwhile, question 5 requires students to apply the content of the text to propose specific actions to preserve and promote cultural identity.
The writing part consists of two sentences, in which sentence 1, accounting for 2 points, requires writing a social commentary paragraph of about 200 words about the necessity of honesty when creating and sharing information, associated with the issue of fake news, fake videos and the responsibility of young people in the digital environment.
Question 2 accounts for 4 points, requiring writing a literary essay of about 600 words analyzing the poem "Childhood Field" by author Trinh Thanh Son.
In this re-exam, Tuyen Quang Specialized High School arranged 15 exam rooms. According to the list of Literature subjects, there are 326 candidates, Math 328 candidates, Physics 140 candidates, Chemistry 113 candidates, Biology 38 candidates, History 113 candidates, Geography 37 candidates, Informatics 4 candidates, Foreign Language 207 candidates.
After completing Literature in the morning, candidates will enter the Math exam in the afternoon of the same day.
