The Investigation Security Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has just prosecuted 4 more defendants in the case of "Abusing positions and powers while performing official duties" that occurred at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site.
Thus, to date, 33 defendants have been prosecuted, including principals, heads of exam sites, deputy heads of exam sites and teachers of related schools.
The Investigation Security Agency determined that the defendants had the act of giving common reminders to the entire exam room. The wrongdoing of the subjects occurred in all exam subjects and 15 exam rooms.
Currently, the investigation is continuing with related individuals, including teachers and parents showing signs of violations. From there, candidates violating the exam regulations will be identified.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, on August 5, the Investigation Security Agency, Ministry of Public Security, informed that this agency had prosecuted 2 more people in the case of unusually high 2026 high school graduation Math exam scores in Tuyen Quang province.
At that time, 29 defendants were prosecuted, of which 7 were detained. The identities of the two new defendants have not been announced. All 29 people are being investigated for the crime of Abusing positions and powers while performing official duties.
On July 17, the Investigation Security Agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued a Decision to withdraw the case of "Abusing positions and powers while performing official duties" that occurred at the Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted High School Graduation Exam Point to the Investigation Security Agency of the Ministry of Public Security for further investigation and handling according to legal regulations.
At the time the Ministry of Public Security withdrew the file, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police had prosecuted 27 defendants to serve the investigation.
Among them are defendants Tran Thi Thu Hang - Vice Principal of Nguyen Van Huyen High School (Tuyen Quang province), Head of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site; Nguyen Ha Duy - Math teacher, Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site; Nguyen Thi Hang - Principal of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School; Nguyen Thi Dieu Thuy - Literature teacher - Tuyen Quang Specialized High School.
Providing information about the defendants' actions, Colonel Tran Tuan Anh - Head of the Staff Department (Tuyen Quang Provincial Police) said that defendant Tran Thi Thu Hang was responsible for operating the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site but directed and oriented some invigilators to create conditions for candidates to take the Math exam in violation of regulations.
According to Hang's instructions, defendant Nguyen Ha Duy directly entered the exam room to guide and remind some candidates to do the Math exam.
