According to the announcement of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, the admission benchmark score for 2026 according to the high school graduation exam (PT4) score method ranges from 21.35 to 23.50 points.
Pharmacy continues to lead with 23.50 points, followed by Pharmaceutical Chemistry 22.75 points, Chemistry 22.10 points and Biotechnology 21.35 points. The difference between the major with the highest and lowest scores is 21.35 points.
In the method of combining transcripts with SAT certificates (PT2A), the benchmark score ranges from 25.85 to 26.63 points. Pharmacy continues to be the highest with 26.63 points, followed by Pharmaceutical Chemistry 26.33 points, Chemistry 26.07 points and Biotechnology 25.85 points.
With the specialized class (PT2B) student admission method, the benchmark score is from 25.71 to 26.56 points. Pharmacy ranks first with 26.56 points; Pharmaceutical Chemistry 26.37 points; Chemistry 26.20 points and Biotechnology 25.71 points.
Regarding the method of using the results of the thinking assessment exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (PT3), only the Pharmacy major enrolls students, with an admission score of 18.83 points according to the school's converted score scale.
In 2026, Hanoi University of Pharmacy will recruit 890 students using methods similar to last year, including: Direct admission; considering combining transcripts with SAT certificates, considering transcripts with specialized students or considering GCE A-level certificates; based on TSA thinking assessment exam scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and high school graduation exam scores.
In which, Pharmacy major is considered by all of the above methods. The remaining three majors, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology, do not use TSA scores.
Candidates registering for academic transcripts, certificates or TSA scores must have good academic results for three years of high school. Depending on the method, they also need to meet the requirements for academic transcript scores for subjects according to combinations.
For SAT, the school only accepts SAT 1400/1600 or higher for Pharmacy and 1350 for other majors. For A-level, candidates need to have results of 80/100 for each subject in the combination, and 90 or higher for Pharmacy.
Regarding combinations, in addition to the two traditional combinations of enrollment from previous years, A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), this year, the school adds D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) in Chemistry and B08 (Math, Biology, English) in Biotechnology.
