The happiness of young teachers
The Ministry of Education and Training is finalizing a draft to specify in detail the salary, allowances and policies to attract and support teachers. Accordingly, it is expected that the basic salary of all teachers will increase, increasing by at least about 2 million VND, the maximum can be up to 5 - 7 million VND/person/month. This additional fee is only calculated with the basic salary, not counted with other allowances.
Previously, Resolution 71 of the Politburo directed the implementation of special and outstanding incentive policies for the teaching staff; raising vocational incentives for preschool and general education institutions to a minimum of 70% for teachers, a minimum of 30% for staff, 100% for teachers in areas with special difficulties, border areas, islands, and ethnic minority areas.
This information is attracting special attention from the teaching staff, because it is directly related to their lives and motivation to contribute.
As a young teacher who has only been in the profession for 2 years, the income of Ms. Pham Minh Anh - a teacher at Nguyen Van Troi High School (Phu Tho) is still quite limited, having to consider each expense to both take care of her life and stick with the profession. Information about the new policies related to salaries and allowances came to her as a great source of encouragement, arousing trust and joy in the hearts of the class leaders.
For the female teacher, increased income not only helps reduce the economic burden but also gives her more peace of mind and stability to focus on her work.
I really feel extremely happy and joyful. That is not only an improvement in life but also a clear demonstration of the Party and State's concern for the teaching staff. I believe that this joy will spread, become a great motivation and spiritual gift for teachers to continue to devote themselves to the cause of educating people - Ms. Minh Anh was moved.

More motivation
Sharing his joy at the news about the new policies, Mr. Le Huy Chinh - a teacher at Son Kim 2 Primary School (Ha Tinh), said: "This information creates a big change for the teaching staff. In the context of strong social development, new policies on salaries and incentives will help teachers feel secure in their work, wholeheartedly devoting themselves to the cause of educating people".
According to Mr. Chinh, many teachers have been working hard in the profession despite limited income, even though they know that their salary is not really commensurate with the efforts and responsibilities they undertake. Therefore, when hearing the news, he and his colleagues were extremely excited, feeling that their contributions had been recognized.
"What we expect most is that the policy will be implemented soon so that joy does not stop at information, but truly becomes a driving force for teachers.
With this support, teachers will be more determined to innovate teaching methods, meeting the increasingly high expectations of society. I believe that when life is improved, we will be able to devote our wholeheart to students and the cause of educating people" - Mr. Chinh shared.
