The City People's Committee issued Document No. 1,2007/VP-XDCT approving the investment policy to build a block of classrooms at Dong Hai 2 Primary and Secondary School from the city budget.
Dong Hai 2 Primary and Secondary School currently has only 23 classrooms, only suitable for the 2025-2026 school year. From the 2026-2027 school year, the school will lack rooms for grade 9 and a total of 50 classrooms and functional rooms for the 2026-2030 period. Having to borrow classrooms from Dong Hai Secondary School causes many problems and poses a potential risk to traffic safety. Therefore, the People's Committee of Dong Hai Ward proposed to build a 5-storey building with 24 classrooms and functional rooms, with a total floor area of nearly 3,000 m2, along with a 640kVA transformer station, with a total estimated investment of 66.5 billion VND from the city budget.
The City People's Committee assigned the Dong Hai Ward People's Committee to prepare a report proposing the project investment policy; review the master plan of Dong Hai 2 Primary School (old) as a basis for selecting the location to build a suitable classroom building, ensuring standards in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. The ward coordinated with the Hai An Project Management Board to propose an implementation plan.
