In Dak Lak, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung donated 40 billion VND in cash along with many types of medicine and medical supplies worth 2 billion VND to Dak Lak province to help the locality provide emergency relief to people and handle some urgent issues
Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanked the timely affection and sharing of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Hai Phong city, and said that the flood caused heavy damage to people and property in the province. Currently, many areas are still deeply flooded, making people's lives very difficult.

Regarding the issue of clean water treatment in flooded areas, Director of Hai Phong Department of Health Le Minh Quang said that he has directed the transportation of 2.5 tons of Cloramin and 400,000 aquatabs disinfectants to Dak Lak, helping the neighboring province treat about 80,000 cubic meters of clean water. At the same time, about 300 - 500 medical staff and medical staff were mobilized to be ready to support Dak Lak at any time.
Up to this point, Hai Phong has supported Dak Lak province with 50 billion VND in cash and many necessary necessities and medicines to help people cope with floods.
In addition to the city's support, many people and charity groups in Hai Phong have also called for support and brought goods, sending money to support people in the South Central region, including Dak Lak.
Preliminary statistics as of the afternoon of November 23, Dak Lak province has had more than 50 deaths, 10 missing people, and 2 injured people. About 15,000 houses were deeply submerged in water, traffic infrastructure, education, healthcare... were severely damaged. About 3.2 million cattle and poultry died, 127,000 aquaculture cages, and 1,000 hectares of brackish water shrimp farming were lost. About 18,000 hectares of vegetables were flooded and damaged, the total damage in the whole province is estimated at more than 5,300 billion VND.
