Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said that as soon as the Law on Teachers was passed by the National Assembly, the Ministry of Education and Training has deployed the development and submission to the Government of 03 Decrees and 14 Circulars, ensuring the same effect when the Law on Teachers takes effect on January 1, 2026.
First of all, it is the standardization and synchronization in the entire system when implementing the merger of two standard systems (professional title and professional title) into a title system associated with professional competence standards, unified for both public and non-public. This is to create a common quality level for the entire team; ensure fairness in access to quality education for students; increase transparency and easy access in assessing, selecting and training teachers.
In addition, regulations on the content and methods of teacher recruitment will be adjusted in conjunction with pedagogical practice, ensuring quality input, suitable for each level of education and training level.
"Salary, allowance, support and attraction policies for teachers have also been reviewed and supplemented to help increase income and improve the lives of teachers" - the Minister informed.
Enhancing the position of the teaching profession
On the side of educational and training institutions, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Principal of Hanoi National University of Education - acknowledged that the new policies have had a great impact on attracting good students to apply for the pedagogical major. Over the years, some majors such as Literature Pedagogy, Mathematics, History... have had entrance points in the top. Therefore, the school has the opportunity to choose people with higher abilities. This is an important factor to ensure output quality.

In the context of educational innovation, the Principal of Hanoi National University of Education said that teachers must take on many interdisciplinary tasks. He gave an example, preschool teachers not only care about teaching children, but also have to assess the psychological development and functions of children, thereby detecting children with problems, helping families to suffer early...
To equip learners with these skills, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son pledged that Hanoi National University of Education will always innovate training programs, apply technologies to teaching, and ensure the supply of high-quality human resources to the country.
National Assembly delegate Trinh Thi Tu Anh (Lam Dong delegation) affirmed that in the new era, human resources are the key factor, knowledge and creativity are the main driving force, instead of natural resources or cheap labor.
To have high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of "strive" of the country, the delegate emphasized the irreplaceable role of teachers.
The female delegate hopes that the allowance and incentive policies for teachers will create a clear positive effect: Improving the quality of input for pedagogical students, the source of teacher recruitment becomes more abundant, and even the subjects that were previously difficult to recruit such as Natural Sciences, Music, and Fine Arts also have a large number of candidates.
