Late on November 19, prolonged heavy rain caused many areas in the center of Nha Trang and some areas in Khanh Hoa province to continue to suffer new floods.
The water poured in quickly, causing deep flooding on the roads, cutting off traffic at many points.

Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee quickly informed about some areas that are deeply flooded, isolated, and at risk of landslides in the province. In particular, many vulnerable areas such as: Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa, Cam Lam.
All leaders of Khanh Hoa province visited key areas late in November 19 to directly direct and operate rescue work with the highest determination for the people's lives and property; thoroughly apply the "4 on-site" plan to support people, not leaving anyone hungry or thirsty.

In Nha Trang, floodwaters have caused many streets to turn into rivers.
Most notably is the Go supermarket area in Tay Nha Trang ward, where hundreds of cars were submerged in water.
People said the water rose too quickly in the early morning so they could not move their vehicles to a safe place.
The recorded images show a series of cars lying still in the rushing water, many of which were almost completely submerged.
According to records, this was one of the most heavily flooded areas during this flood.
