Au Lac College - Hue opens a 2-stage university roadmap

For those who have lower-than-expected high school graduation exam results, the 2-stage university roadmap may open up a more suitable direction.

Two stages, a long-term learning roadmap

In 2026, Au Lac College - Hue, a unit under the Van Hien University Ecosystem, will continue to implement the 2-stage University program for learners who want to soon have vocational skills, accumulate practical experience and continue to study for a university degree when meeting the conditions according to regulations.

In the initial stage, students study for two years at Au Lac College - Hue. The program is built according to the application orientation, with about 70% of the time dedicated to in-depth practice. Students are equipped with foundational knowledge, professional skills and adaptability to practical requirements at businesses.

After two years, learners have a foundation to participate in the labor market, accumulate experience and gradually be financially proactive. This is also a period of time to help students understand their abilities, interests and goals before choosing the next development step.

In phase two, students who complete the college program and meet the prescribed conditions can continue to study at Van Hien University according to the articulation or joint training roadmap to complete the bachelor's program.

Representative of Au Lac College - Hue, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh shared that the 2-stage University program is designed to create more choices for candidates who want to enter the professional environment early but still set long-term learning goals. After the first stage, students have the knowledge, skills and qualifications to find jobs, and at the same time proactively choose the right time to continue improving their qualifications.

According to the school representative, the 2-stage University Program for the entire course has a tuition fee of only about 50 million VND, helping parents reduce financial burdens and students still have the opportunity to own a regular college degree and a regular university bachelor's degree after completing the roadmap according to regulations.

Most of the occupations the school is training are supported with 70% of the full course tuition fee according to Decree 238/2025/ND-CP of the Government, so tuition fees are only about 10 million VND for phase 1 (ie the first 2 years). Thanks to that, the entire 4-year study roadmap, students learn in a quality environment with reasonable costs, parents reduce some financial burden for their families.

This design also creates a smooth learning process from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City. Learners have degrees and vocational skills after the first stage, while expanding opportunities to improve their qualifications and develop in the next stage.

Many majors are supported with tuition fees up to 90% in the first year

In the enrollment season of the 2026-2027 school year, Au Lac - Hue College focuses on training in many majors associated with human resource needs, notably Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine and Food Processing Engineering.

Pharmacy students are oriented to work at pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical enterprises or in the position of pharmaceutical representative. Nursing opens up opportunities at hospitals, clinics, medical centers and internship programs, working in Germany, Japan, and Korea.

The Veterinary sector aims for positions at animal feed enterprises, veterinary medicine companies, farms and clinics. The Food Processing Engineering sector is associated with human resource needs in the fields of tourism, services, cuisine, especially in Hue.

Au Lac College - Hue currently has a cooperation network with more than 600 businesses, supporting students to access practice, internships and job opportunities. The school commits that 100% of students will have jobs after graduation.

In 2026, Au Lac College - Hue also launched a financial support package for new students, with enrollment fees from 1.3 million VND. The support level for four key majors is up to 90% of the first year's tuition fee and 70% in the remaining years. For other majors, students are supported 70% of the first semester tuition fee and 20% of the second semester tuition fee.

Representatives of the school said that the policies are built to reduce financial pressure in the early stages of enrollment, when families must simultaneously prepare tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses and transportation. The level of support is allocated by industry group to encourage learners to choose fields that are in need of human resources and suitable for the school's training orientation.

The school affirms that tuition fees are kept stable throughout the course. Foreign students are supported with 500,000 VND for transportation costs, new students are exempt from health check-ups, first-year health insurance and receive free dormitory support in the first year.
