The school recruits an additional 420 quotas for 8 majors and training programs. Notably, some majors in the fields of data science, computer engineering, automation and information technology have the opportunity to receive scholarships under Decree 179 of the Government.
According to the supplementary enrollment plan, the International School receives applications in two methods: considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam and considering the results of the High School Student Aptitude Assessment (HSA) exam organized by VNU-HN.
The threshold for receiving supplementary admission applications based on the high school graduation exam scores in 2026 is 21.0 points on a 30-point scale. For the method of using the HSA exam results, the threshold for receiving applications is 73 points on a 150-point scale, regardless of the Q combination.
The application score level includes priority points for subjects and areas if any; not including bonus points, bonus points and encouragement points.
Specifically, the International School recruits additional majors and programs as follows:

Industry groups with scholarship opportunities under Decree 179 of the Government
Candidates registering for 4 majors in the fields of data science, computer engineering, automation and information technology have the opportunity to access scholarship policies according to Decree 179 of the Government, depending on the conditions and applicable regulations. Major groups include:
Business Data Analysis (BDA) - belonging to the Data Science industry group;
Informatics and Computer Engineering (ICE) - belonging to the Computer Engineering group;
Automation and Informatics (AAI) - belonging to the Control Engineering and Automation industry group;
Applied Information Technology (AIT) - belonging to the Information Technology industry group.
These are all fields associated with the need to develop high-quality human resources in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
In addition, International School continues to enroll students for programs in the economics, management and business groups such as Accounting, Analysis and Auditing; Management Information Systems; Marketing; Management. In which, the Marketing program is co-granted by VNU-HN and HELP University, Malaysia; the Management program is co-granted by VNU-HN and Keuka University, USA.
Two admission methods
According to Notice No. 4426/TB-ĐHQGHN dated August 22, 2026, the supplementary enrollment phase is implemented in two methods: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam; Admission based on the results of the High School Student Aptitude Assessment exam organized by ĐHQGHN (HSA).
Candidates can register a maximum of 2 additional aspirations at each unit and arrange them in order of priority, in which aspiration 1 is the highest priority aspiration.
Supporting conditions for English and Mathematics
In addition to the application score threshold, candidates need to meet additional conditions according to each major.
For English, candidates need to meet at least one of the criteria according to regulations. Specifically, the high school graduation exam score for English must reach 6.0 points or higher for majors QHQ02, QHQ03, QHQ05, QHQ06 and QHQ07; reach 5.0 points or higher for majors QHQ04, QHQ08 and QHQ10.
Candidates can also meet the English requirement through the average score of English for the whole year of grades 10, 11 and 12 reaching at least 7.0 points; the results of English in the HSA combined Q21 exam reaching at least 30/50 points; or having an international English certificate meeting the conditions according to regulations.
For candidates using the D01 combination for admission to majors QHQ04, QHQ08 and QHQ10, the high school graduation exam score in Mathematics must be from 6.0 points or higher.
Conversion of international English certificates
The score of the international English certificate can be converted to a 10-point scale to replace the English exam score in the admission combination.

School accepts applications until the end of September 11, 2026
The time to receive supplementary admission applications lasts from August 24 to the end of September 11, 2026.
The school is expected to announce the admission results before 5:00 PM on September 15, 2026. Candidates can look up the results on the unit's enrollment website.
To participate in admission consideration, candidates need to perform two steps simultaneously.

Step 2: Submit the hard copy dossier directly at one of the two locations:
• 1st floor, Innovation Building of VNUHN, No. 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi;
• International School Admissions Office, Building E5, No. 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
The dossier includes a certificate of high school graduation exam results in 2026; a HSA exam result certificate for candidates using this method; high school transcripts; international English certificates if any; proof of bonus points and priorities; supplementary admission registration form according to the international school's form and related documents as prescribed.
