From 22-25.4.2025, the Banking Academy will coordinate with member universities of the Association of Russian - Vietnam Economic Universities to organize "Russian Economic Week in Vietnam - A Marathon of Knowledge".
This is a special academic event on economics, banking, and education between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh, Deputy Director of the Banking Academy, emphasized that in the context of the increasingly developing bilateral relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, "Russia Economic Week in Vietnam" will be an important event in the activities of strengthening multilateral cooperation, bringing many practical benefits to students, scientists as well as schools in the Association of Russian - Vietnam Economic University.

The Association of Russian - Vietnam Economic Universities was established in November 2024, including 6 leading economic universities in Russia and 5 leading economic universities in Vietnam.
The Association aims to jointly build sustainable cooperative relationships, coordinate research on potential projects, and promote high-quality training programs between universities between the two countries.
In addition, promoting bilateral cooperation activities between universities, creating a foundation for developing and innovating training programs, providing opportunities for exchanges and academic exchanges, enhancing professional and cultural understanding between students and lecturers.
The week includes important topics such as career opportunities in the economic and banking sector in Russia and Vietnam, the role of universities in developing regional industries.

The Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation assessed that the event is an important and meaningful milestone for the network of Vietnam - Russia economic universities; at the same time, he believes that after this event, the network will grow stronger and develop both in scale and depth of activities, contributing to promoting effective cooperation between members.
Mr. Vladimir Murashkin - Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture also shared that today's Knowledge Marathon event will be a rare opportunity to interact with experts, assess career development prospects and be inspired by new ideas.
