Yen So Bus Station, the 7th inter-provincial bus station project in Hanoi, was officially started in the beginning of the second quarter of 2025. The project investor is Thanh Tri Bus Station Joint Stock Company. The contractor is Ho Chi Minh Museum Construction Joint Stock Company.
The project is 27,500m2 wide, located along the Ring Road 3 axis through Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district and about 5km from Nuoc Ngam Bus Station and Giap Bat Bus Station.
Recorded at the end of June 2025, most of the project site had activities with many machines and workers at the project. Currently, the contractor is focusing on constructing the foundation item.

Yen So Bus Station has a construction area of 3,445m2 with a total floor area of 14,534m2. The project consists of 4 floors (3 floors above ground, 1 basement), of which the basement is 5,000m2 wide and is used as a parking garage for passengers.
The center of the bus station has a circular building, with an area of 2,000m2, with the first floor being a ticket sales area and showroom, the second floor being a fast food business.

Yen So Bus Station is designed with a capacity of 800-1,000 vehicles/day, the first phase will operate about 400 vehicles/day. The project is expected to reduce pressure on Nuoc Ngam and Giap Bat bus stations.
However, local people also hope that the authorities will have a suitable traffic diversion plan when Yen So bus station comes into operation to avoid traffic jams and traffic conflicts.

"The Ring Road 3 below is currently narrow, with a large traffic volume, and hundreds of more vehicles coming and going each day, so the possibility of congestion is very high. Therefore, there needs to be a suitable turning point and stopping point, and environmental sanitation work needs to be paid attention to", said Mr. Hoang Tien, Yen So ward.
Yen So Bus Station is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2026, receiving inter-provincial bus routes from Giap Bat, especially routes to the South.
