On July 3, Gia Vien Ward People's Committee (Hai Phong City) organized a Conference to deploy the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (flycams) with cameras in urban order management.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Traffic Police Department, the Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order (City Police); and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward...
Accordingly, implementing the Directive of the City People's Committee, Gia Vien Ward People's Committee has implemented the re-establishment of traffic safety order, sidewalk order, and urban aesthetics on the roads. With the core role, recently, Gia Vien Ward Police have proactively advised the Party Committee and local authorities to deploy many synchronous measures, coordinating with departments, branches, unions, residential groups... to propagate and mobilize organizations, business households, and people to strictly comply with regulations.

Gia Vien Ward has also strictly handled violations of sidewalk order through images provided by organizations and individuals. As a result, Lach Tray, An Da, Le Loi streets... have clearly changed in terms of traffic safety, sidewalk order, and urban aesthetics.
Besides the above noteworthy results, there are still some violations such as the habit of using sidewalks and roadways for trading, stockpiling goods, parking/parking vehicles improperly... when functional forces are not present.
Starting from the above reality, Gia Vien Ward Police researched the application of flycam equipment, advising Gia Vien Ward People's Committee to inspect, supervise, and manage sidewalk order and urban order from above. From the collected videos and images, Gia Vien Ward Police will propagate, remind, and mobilize people to comply and handle cases of intentional violations according to regulations.
This is a new way to support the Order Police Team - Gia Vien Ward Police and Gia Vien Ward People's Committee forces to expand their observation and detect violations and traffic jams faster... especially on roads and densely populated areas, where direct patrol forces find it difficult to cover regularly and continuously.
