Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 1 and the forecast of heavy rain in the coming days, on the morning of July 3, Kien Hung Commune People's Committee deployed storm prevention and response plans. The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee requested the entire political system from communes to villages to focus highly on disaster prevention and control, ready to respond to any possible situations.
Key villages including Ngoc Tinh, Ky Son, Kim Son, Da Ngu and Duong Thang and other villages closely monitor the storm's developments, review areas at risk of flooding, households outside dikes, aquaculture households and houses that are not safe to proactively plan protection and evacuation when necessary.
Regarding agricultural production, the commune directed the urgent implementation of drainage measures, protection of 35 hectares of sewn seedlings, focusing on clearing flow, dredging the canal system, and removing obstacles to minimize damage caused by heavy rain.
The Commune People's Committee requests specialized departments to closely coordinate with VINALPHA Infrastructure Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company to review and ensure absolute safety for key projects and construction areas; have plans to move machinery, equipment and workers to safe places.

Also on the morning of July 3, leaders of Hop Tien commune inspected the preparation for storm response in some key areas in the area.
The working group inspected the reality at the cage fish farming area of households in Quang Tan village, requesting families and cage fish farming households in the area to urgently review and reinforce the cage and raft system, strengthen anchor ropes, check floats, cage frames and connection points; proactively plan to move cages to safe locations when necessary. At the same time, farming households need to regularly update weather forecast information, prepare sufficient manpower, materials, and means to respond to all situations; absolutely do not stay in cages and rafts when the storm affects to ensure safety for people and property.
In the low-lying field area of Mac Dinh Chi village - where flooding often occurs when there are heavy rains, after actual inspection of the drainage system, pumps and internal field canals, commune leaders requested villages, production groups and functional forces to regularly closely monitor weather developments; proactively inspect and operate effectively drainage pumping stations; organize drainage, dredging canals and ditches, ensuring rapid drainage, minimizing damage to agricultural production.
