At noon on April 5, at km1592 of the North-South railway line passing through hamlet 9, Tan Minh commune, Lam Dong province, a railway accident occurred. This location is located between Song Phan - Song Dinh stations.
According to initial information, car number 86A-106. xx driven by Mr. P.H (born 1960, residing in Son My commune), carrying 3 relatives, was traveling from DT. 720 road into the forest area.
When the car traveled to the above location, which was a self-opened level crossing and crossed the railway, it collided with a freight train numbered HH10. The collision into the rear side of the car injured 3 people on board.
At the scene, the car was thrown out of the railway, the tail was heavily damaged. The freight train stopped to handle the incident, after about 30 minutes of continuing the journey.
Ham Tan Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police was present, coordinating with the Railway industry to examine the scene and investigate the cause of the accident.
