On June 22, Bao Lam 2 Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that a traffic accident between a truck and a motorbike had just occurred in the area, killing a woman.
According to initial information, at about 8 am on the same day, a truck with license plate 86H-009.26 driven by driver Phan Trong Nghia (27 years old, residing in Nam Thanh commune, Lam Dong province) was traveling on the inter-communal road connecting Bao Lam 1 commune and Bao Lam 2 commune.
When reaching the section passing Duc Thanh village, Bao Lam 2 commune, the truck collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. Tran Thi Khoa (50 years old, residing in Ward 1, Bao Loc) traveling in the same direction in front.
The collision caused Ms. Khoa to fall to the road and be run over by the truck, dying on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene to regulate traffic, examine the scene and investigate the cause of the accident.
Functional agencies are continuing to clarify the cause of the incident.
