Northern region is about to experience intense heat again, forecast time for thunderstorms

AN AN |

The meteorological agency predicts that the heat in the North will temporarily decrease on June 22, then increase sharply on June 24 and there will be thunderstorms from June 25.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, yesterday (June 21), the midland and delta areas of the Northern region, Da Nang city area, and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak experienced hot weather, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius such as Ninh Binh monitoring station 38.2 degrees Celsius, Son Hoa (Dak Lak) 38.5 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri has intense heat with the highest daily temperature commonly 37-39 degrees C, in some places above 39 degrees C such as Nhu Xuan monitoring station (Thanh Hoa) 39.5 degrees C, Con Cuong (Nghe An) 39.2 degrees C, Vinh (Nghe An) 39.7 degrees C, Dong Ha (Quang Tri) 39.5 degrees C.

However, today, June 22, the temperature in some northern provinces tends to decrease; in Hanoi capital this morning there is scattered rain.

The meteorological agency has explained that the weather in the northern provinces today is cloudier, and the hot sun tends to decrease. Accordingly, the reason is that the low pressure trough causing rain in the northern mountainous region in recent days, moved southward last night and this morning.

Therefore, in the Northern provinces today, the sky is cloudier, so the intensity of sunshine is also significantly reduced. The hot zone is narrowed down and only appears in the southern part of the Northern Delta. The temperature threshold is also not too high, fluctuating in the range of 35 - 36 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow, June 23, this low pressure trough will move back up to the North, hot weather in the North will reappear on a large scale. In which the peak of hot weather will fall around June 24 with temperatures in the North commonly from 36 - 39 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency forecasts that from June 25th, this low pressure trough will again spread down to the North, causing rain and reducing heat in the North, and by June 26th, the heat will basically completely stop in the North.

As for the Central region, widespread heat is still continuing.

On June 22, the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri will have intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 37-39 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

The area from Hue to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak have hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 39 degrees C.

On June 23, Hue to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri has intense and especially intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 38-40 degrees C, with some places above 40 degrees C.
