On July 4, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police invited the driver who drove the dump truck across the level crossing when the red light was turned on to work and make a record of violation.
Previously, the Traffic Police Department received feedback from the railway industry's surveillance camera system about a case of a dump truck crossing a level crossing when the red light was already on.
Images recorded the incident at 12:53 pm on June 30 at Km 1513+708 of the North - South railway line. After receiving information, the Traffic Police Department directed the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police to urgently verify and handle according to regulations.
Through verification, the location of the incident belonged to Song Luy commune, Lam Dong province. Functional forces then invited the driver to work.
At the police station, the driver presented papers in the name of T.T. L and admitted the violation.
The Traffic Police Department has made a record of administrative violation against driver L for the act of "Crossing the level crossing when the red light has been turned on" as prescribed in Clause 9, Article 13, Decree No. 81/2026/ND-CP.
Functional forces recommend that vehicle drivers absolutely comply with warning signals at level crossings intersecting with railways.
