ABBank increases interest rates sharply, highest at 6.3%/year
According to Lao Dong, on October 25, An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank) issued a new deposit interest rate schedule, increasing sharply for most terms.
ABBank's online deposit interest rate table records the following changes:
Interest Rate for 1 month term is 3.2%/year.
The 3-month Interest Rate increased by 0.2 percentage points to 3.9%/year.
Interest Rate for 6-month term increased by 0.3 percentage points, to 5.3%/year.
Interest Rate for 9-month term increased by 0.3 percentage points, to 5.5%/year.
The 12-month Interest Rate increased by 0.3 percentage points to 5.9% per year.
The 18-month Interest Rate increased by more than 0.5 percentage points to 6.2%/year.
Interest Rate for 24-month term increased to 6.3%/year.
Interest Rate for 36-month term is 5.7%/year.

Interest Rate for 1 month term is 3.0%/year.
Interest Rate for 3-month term is 3.4%/year.
Interest Rate for 6-month term is 4.6%/year.
Interest Rate for 9-month term is at 4.2%/year.

After increasing interest rates, ABBank became the market leader with the highest interest rate of 6.3%/year.
CBBank, LPBank reduce interest rates
On the contrary, today the market simultaneously recorded two banks unexpectedly reducing interest rates.
Construction Bank (CBBank) listed a reduction of about 0.05% in interest rates for terms greater than 3 months.
Interest Rate for 1 month term is 3.8%/year.
Interest Rate for 3-month term is 4.0%/year.
Interest Rate for 6-month term decreased by 0.05 percentage points, to 5.5%/year.
Interest Rate for 9-month term decreased by 0.05 percentage points, to 5.45%/year.
12-month Interest Rate decreased by 0.05 percentage points to 5.65%/year.
Interest Rate for 18-36 month term decreased by 0.05 percentage points, down to 5.8%/year.
Loc Phat Vietnam Bank (LPBank) listed a 0.3% decrease in all terms.
1-month Interest Rate down to 3.6%/year.
3-month interest rate down to 3.8%/year.
Interest Rate for 6-month term down to 5.0%/year.
Interest Rate for 9-month term down to 5.0%/year.
Interest Rate for 12-month term down to 5.4%/year.
