Update on gasoline and oil prices on September 13th: At 5:00 PM, world oil prices simultaneously reversed to decrease.

At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI oil price was at 99.99 USD/barrel, down 2.49 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.43%. WTI oil price closed the previous trading session at 102.48 USD/barrel, and opened the weekend session at 103.97 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 104.47 USD/barrel, down 3.16 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.49%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 107.63 USD/barrel, and opened the weekend session at 108.95 USD/barrel.

World gasoline prices turned down as some Middle Eastern countries made efforts to promote a temporary agreement with Iran to maintain cargo transportation through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in today's operating period is affected by key factors such as: Conflict between the US and Iran showing signs of escalation; Houthi forces attacking Saudi Arabia causing fires at some oil facilities; signals of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the main upward trend is.

The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items in the domestic market in the operating period on September 13 are as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 23,744 VND/liter, lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 495 VND/liter;

- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 24,239 VND/liter;

- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,485 VND/liter;

- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 18,157 VND/kg.

Gasoline and oil selling prices of neighboring countries of Vietnam on September 10, 2026:

- Regarding gasoline prices: Thailand: 30,003 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 28,337 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Laos: 48,216 VND/liter; China: 32,879 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 24,239 VND/liter.

- Regarding oil prices: Thailand: 30. 669 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 33, 218 VND/liter; Laos: 40, 176 VND/liter; China: 29, 824 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 28, 485 VND/liter.

Vietnam's gasoline and oil prices are currently low compared to countries sharing a common border.
