On June 11, according to public information on the National Bidding Network System, Nhat Nam Company was applied the form of contract termination handling for the Construction package (section from VCB to Ngoc Ha bridge) belonging to package No. 10 of the Main Drainage Project along National Highway 51.
The project includes sections from road 2A to Hue Quang pagoda, section from VCB to Ngoc Ha bridge and section from Phuoc Hoa - Cai Mep road to Rach Tre bridge, implemented in Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (now Ho Chi Minh City).
The reason for terminating the contract is determined to be that the contractor "abandoned the project or clearly expressed the intention not to continue to perform contract obligations".
According to the public content, Nhat Nam Company violated the provisions of point b, clause 17. 2, Article 17 on temporary suspension and termination of contract by the contractor of Contract No. 179/2021/HD-XD dated November 17, 2021 related to the construction of the above-mentioned construction package.

The termination of the contract with the contractor is carried out according to the terms signed between the parties, in order to ensure the progress and efficiency of the drainage infrastructure project in the area.
