On the evening of December 13, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City organized the program "Da Nang Product Promotion Day - 2024".

The Da Nang product promotion program is associated with the implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the period of 2022-2025, at the same time stimulating consumption, supporting production, business and developing the domestic market; contributing to attracting visitors and shoppers, creating a vibrant atmosphere for Christmas and welcoming the new year 2025.

The program will take place from December 13 to 15 with the coordination of the Vietnam E-commerce Association to display and introduce products of 26 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households with OCOP certified products, typical and unique rural industries, souvenirs, craft village products, startup products, etc. of Da Nang City.

In particular, this year's program has a highlight in that the organizers invited TikTok Shop to organize a livestream program on the TikTok platform jointly implemented by content creators and participating businesses.

The program hopes to help businesses access and apply livestreaming to promote and consume products, increase market access, aim for sustainable development, and adapt to current e-commerce trends.

Mr. Ngo Van Son - an employee of Viana Production, Trade and Service Company Limited - said that the unit hopes to receive more support and guidance from the Department of Industry and Trade as well as the Vietnam E-commerce Association in promoting and selling products through social platforms.

Because traditional and local products are facing huge competition from industrial products. Meanwhile, most business owners are inexperienced.

“The trend of online shopping is currently growing very strongly, we really hope that businesses can invite famous people to experience and promote their products or guide us on how to sell products effectively via livestream,” said Mr. Son.
