On July 3, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested departments, functional agencies, and commune authorities to improve service to tourists, urban environmental sanitation, and increase lighting so that tourists can have better feelings and experiences during the tourist season.
According to assessments, in the early summer tourism season of 2026, tourism activities in the province are bustling; the number of visitors to visit and relax has increased, and the room occupancy rate at many accommodation establishments has reached a large level.

However, besides that, there are still some shortcomings that need to be overcome such as: uneven service quality, traffic congestion, waste situation, unsightliness in some areas, risk of unreasonable service price increases...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to focus on implementing with the spirit: "Tourism development must go hand in hand with service quality", "Do not let a large number of visitors come but the image of the destination is affected...".
To improve the quality of the tourism industry, the province requests to launch inspections of food safety and hygiene, and handle cases of homelessness, hardship, and begging according to regulations.
Ward police handle cases of traffic safety violations (if any), especially for electric taxis carrying passengers.
Urban authorities daily inspect price listing, environmental sanitation, food safety, and urban order in crowded areas.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of communes and wards is responsible to the Provincial People's Committee if inadequacies occur that seriously affect the local tourism image in particular and the image of the province in general.
