At the World Summit Awards (WSA) 2025 in the Public Administration and Citizen Engagement category.
This recognition further affirms the efforts to apply technology to enhance transparency, connect social resources and promote community participation in humanitarian and charitable activities in Vietnam.

WSA is an international award system implemented since 2003 within the framework of the United Nations World Summit on Information Society, to honor digital solutions that create positive social impacts and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In 2025, WSA selected 40 typical solutions from 28 countries in 8 categories.
The Public Administration and Citizen Participation section focuses on recording digital solutions to promote connections between organizations and people; improving publicity, transparency, accountability and expanding community participation in activities serving common interests.
The Charity Platform is a digital solution providing technology infrastructure to serve humanitarian and charitable activities in a transparent, convenient and effective direction. The center of the platform is a 4-digit transparent payment account provided by MB for free to organizations and individuals mobilizing contributions; all transactions are automatically updated and publicized in real time.
Along with that, the Charity application, thiennguyen. app website and interconnected digital components support creating campaigns, receiving contributions, tracking progress, preparing revenue and expenditure reports and connecting the community conveniently, transparently and effectively.
The Charity Foundation operates on the principle of transparency, neutrality, not for profit purposes. MB does not charge fees for using the platform and does not directly mobilize, receive or distribute community contributions.
Within the framework of the WSA 2026 Global Congress in Vienna, representatives of the Charity Foundation introduced to the international expert council a technology application model to promote transparency, accountability and expand community participation in humanitarian and charitable activities.

Mr. Chu Hai Cong, Public Relations Director, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), shared: "In the new development stage, when science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are increasingly playing an important role in sustainable development, MB wishes to continue to accompany organizations, partners and the international community to promote technology initiatives for the community, thereby making practical contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Duong Thi Kim Lien, Head of TECHFEST Vietnam Impact Technology Village, Director of the Institute for Enterprise Innovation Support (IBIA), a national expert of WSA in Vietnam, said: "The Charity Platform has solved the most difficult problem: trust". According to her, the mechanism of transparency, public disclosure of information in real time and community supervision capabilities have helped the platform be chosen by many national and international-scale campaigns.
The charity platform being honored at WSA 2025 is not only a recognition for the team building and operating the platform and accompanying units, but also contributes to spreading technology solutions for the community developed by Vietnamese people to the global innovation network.
