Eligible documents will be processed immediately
The personal income tax refund dossier will be resolved immediately if the following conditions are met:
The tax payment matches the data on the tax management system.
The dossier does not have any errors compared to the tax authority data.
The amount of tax proposed for refund is smaller than or equal to the excess tax paid.
The bank account receiving the refund has been authenticated with the electronic tax system.
If eligible, the system will automatically process and transfer the tax refund to the taxpayer's account without having to go through additional procedures.
Cases where records need to be adjusted
If the dossier has incorrect or incomplete information, the system will notify the taxpayer to adjust. Some common reasons include:
The difference in the amount of tax paid compared to the declared data.
Bank accounts have not been authenticated with the electronic tax system.
The tax requested for refund exceeds the excess tax payment, the data needs to be re-checked.
The unqualified dossier will be checked and supplemented by the tax authority before approving the tax refund.
