The Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Mr. D.A.K (residing in My Hao ward, Hung Yen province) with a total fine of 97.5 million VND. At the same time, functional agencies applied remedial measures, forcing the destruction of all exhibits of violations, which are 2,280 bottles of smuggled alcohol.
Previously, on December 18, 2025, Market Management Team No. 9 (Mobile Team), Hung Yen Provincial Market Management Sub-Department coordinated with My Hao Ward Police and the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, Provincial Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the business location owned by Mr. D.A.K. At the time of inspection, functional forces discovered a total of 2,280 bottles of various types of alcohol being stored at the facility.
Through inspection, all of the above-mentioned alcohol was labeled with information in foreign characters (Chinese characters), the facility owner could not present legal invoices and documents proving the origin. Functional forces determined that the goods showed signs of being smuggled goods and made a record of temporary seizure, sealing all exhibits to continue verifying and clarifying the violation.
Notably, to conceal illegal business activities, this establishment often closes down, operates discreetly, and creates a cover to avoid inspection and supervision by functional forces.
Mr. D.A.K's business location has violations including not registering to establish business households and trading in smuggled goods.
In the afternoon of January 12, 2026, Market Management Team No. 9 coordinated with functional forces to supervise the destruction of violating exhibits at Urban & Industrial Environment Joint Stock Company 11 (URENCO11). All 2,280 bottles of various types of alcohol have been thoroughly destroyed, ensuring compliance with environmental protection and food safety regulations.
