Eximbank interest rates adjusted in different directions
The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) has just reduced deposit interest rates, with a reduction of 0.2%/year for terms under 6 months.
In particular, online deposit interest rates for 1-month terms decreased to 3.7%/year; 2-month terms decreased to 3.8%/year; terms from 3-5 months decreased to 4%/year.
MB kept deposit interest rates unchanged for terms from 6-60 months.
Since the beginning of May, 2 banks have reduced deposit interest rates, MB and Eximbank.
Highest special interest rate 6.5-9.65%
Currently, 12-month deposit interest rates at banks range from 69.65%/year.
Leading the special interest rate table is ABBank, with 9.65%/year for customers who open new or re-open savings deposits of VND1,500 billion or more, with a term of 13 months. Next is PVcomBank, applying 9%/year for a term of 1213 months, with the condition of maintaining a minimum balance of VND 2,000 billion. HDBank listed interest rates at 8.1%/year for 13-month terms and 7.7%/year for 12-month terms, applicable to deposits of VND500 billion or more.
Some other banks also offer high interest rates from 67.5%/year for 1218 month terms but require a large balance. Vikki Bank applies 7.5%/year for terms of 13 months or more with deposits from 999 billion VND. Bac A Bank listed 6.1%/year for a term of 1836 months with a deposit of over 1 billion VND. IVB applies an interest rate of 6.15% for a 36-month term with a minimum condition of VND 1,500 billion.
Some other major banks such as ACB and LPBank also have quite competitive interest rates, ranging around 66.5%/year for a term of 1213 months, but often accompanied by conditions on deposit balances of several hundred billion VND or more.
Banks with interest rates from 6%
Currently, interest rates above 6%/year are being listed by some banks for long-term deposits, without a minimum deposit requirement.
Cake by VPBank applies 6%/year interest rate for 12-18 months and 6.3%/year for terms 24-36 months; HDBank applies 6% interest rate for 18 -month term; BVBank also paid 6.1%/year for 60 -month term and 6.0%/year for 48 -month term. VietABank maintained 6.0%/year for a 36 -month term.
