Meanwhile, PPF is a layer of physical film glued directly to the surface of the car. The biggest advantage of this option is the ability to protect paint from scratches and physical impacts better than ceramic. In return, PPF has a higher cost. According to the consulting content, a good quality PPF kit can cost from about 20 million VND or more, depending on the material, vehicle size and pasting range. Films also need to be constructed according to proper techniques to ensure grip and aesthetics.
Another important point is the timing of implementation. Newly manufactured or newly received cars usually have a good paint surface, with few scratches and stains. This is a favorable time for ceramic coating or PPF pasting.
If you use the car for a while and then do it, the paint surface may show scratches, stains or defects. At that time, the car owner may have to process, polish, and even repaint some positions before applying ceramic or PPF, incurring additional costs.
Thus, ceramic coating is suitable for people who want the car to always be shiny and beautiful, protected at a basic level and cost-saving. PPF will be suitable for people who prioritize scratch resistance and accept higher investment levels.
