On the morning of September 7, the Government Inspectorate held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's decision on the transfer and appointment of personnel to hold the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau attended and delivered directing speeches at the ceremony.

Two new personnel were transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government, including Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai - Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau congratulated Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan on being trusted by the Party and State to be appointed as Deputy Inspectors General of the Government.

According to government leaders, the 2 new Deputy Inspectors General of the Government are all cadres who have been basically trained, have capacity, qualifications, have solid expertise, have scientific thinking and working methods, are rich in practical experience, have been trained and grown up from the grassroots level and have high prestige in the leadership collective in localities.

The Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated that the country is entering a new stage of development with increasingly higher aspirations, goals and task requirements, so the 2 new Deputy Inspectors General of the Government in their new positions and the leadership of the Government Inspectorate continue to maintain solidarity and unity, quickly grasp the work, promote bravery, experience, and sense of responsibility, and proactively advise on successfully completing assigned tasks.

The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the proactive building of a team of honest, brave, impartial, and professionally proficient inspection officials, protecting officials who dare to think, know how to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good. Along with that, strictly control power and prevent and combat negativity right in inspection activities.

The Deputy Prime Minister proposed to innovate strong thinking and inspection methods, shifting the focus from handling violations to early, remote and grassroots prevention. Inspection focuses on areas with high risks of corruption, wastefulness, negativity, and pressing issues of public concern. Not only detecting and handling violations but also contributing to removing bottlenecks, unlocking resources and promoting national development.
