Before the 2024-2025 school year, the Labor Federation of Thoai Son district organized many study promotion activities for union members' children. Accordingly, the 29th Ton Duc Thang Scholarship was awarded to 10 students who are children of union members, public employees, and workers in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well in 2024.
At the same time, giving gifts to 20 children of union members, public employees, and workers who overcame difficulties and studied well with a total amount of money. It is known that the total amount of money awarded for the Ton Duc Thang Scholarship and "Support to school" gift is 34,500,000 VND, taken from the source of mobilizing officials, civil servants, and public employees of Thoai Son district to save 1,500 VND/person/day.
On this occasion, the Labor Federation of Thoai Son district also mobilized socialization and organized the giving of many other meaningful gifts. Including: BIDV Bank through the Fund to support union members and workers in An Giang province supports 5 scholarships with the amount of 10,500,000 VND; Viettinbank Thoai Son branch donated 30 training sets for scholarships and school support gifts with a total amount of 3,000,000 VND.
In addition, we also mobilized CEP Microfinance Organization Long Xuyen branch to sponsor 5 Back to School gifts with a total amount of 1,250,000 VND; awarded 100 pairs of buoys sponsored by BIDV Bank
