Afternoon 6.8, at TP Châu Đốc, the Labor Union (LĐLĐ) of An Giang province held a ceremony to unveil the provincial-level project welcoming the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến - Vice Chairman of LĐLĐ of An Giang province - along with representatives of the leadership of the Party Committee, People's Committee, LĐLĐ of TP Châu Đốc, and a large number of citizens attended the event.
The project being unveiled is the "Hòa Bình Canal Embankment Road" project, implemented by the People's Committee of TP Châu Đốc as the investor. The total land area used is approximately 57,135.29m2. The total length of the road is 1,220 meters, with the starting point adjacent to Nguyễn Tri Phương Street, Hoàng Diệu Street, and the ending point adjacent to Street No. 13 in Vĩnh Mỹ Ward (TP Châu Đốc). The project is a Group B project with a total investment of 119.771 billion dong, implemented over a period of 02 years and 03 months.
The project creates a continuous traffic connection in the area; facilitates smooth traffic from the National Highway 91 bypass to Hoàng Diệu Street, meeting the travel and transportation needs of citizens.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến emphasized that this is one of the 03 projects organized by the Standing Committee of LĐLĐ of An Giang province to unveil the provincial-level project welcoming the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
“With that spirit, on behalf of the Standing Committee of LĐLĐ of An Giang province, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the People's Committee of TP Châu Đốc, the investor of the project, and the local Party Committee and People's Committee for creating favorable conditions for the project to be completed on schedule to welcome the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. I also acknowledge and highly appreciate the efforts of LĐLĐ of TP Châu Đốc in mobilizing CĐCS, union members, and workers to actively participate in implementing the project" - Mr. Tiến emphasized.
Mr. Tiến also praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the design units, consulting units, and construction units, as well as the active labor of union members and workers of CĐCS of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in TP Châu Đốc to complete the project on schedule, ensuring that it was completed on time to welcome the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến also awarded 3 Certificates of Merit of LĐLĐ of An Giang province to 2 collectives and 1 individual of TP Châu Đốc for outstanding achievements in implementing the project.
