On August 6, at Tri Tôn District, the Provincial Trade Union of An Giang Province solemnly held a ceremony to unveil the provincial-level project welcoming the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union of An Giang Province, attended the event.
According to that, the unveiling of the project for “The Project to Upgrade Provincial Road 958” (Tri Tôn - An Giang route connecting with Vàm Rậy - Kiên Giang) was carried out by the An Giang Province's Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation and Agricultural Infrastructure, which is the investor. The project is a Group B project with a total investment of 260.833 billion VND, with a construction period of 11 months, ensuring that the project was completed ahead of schedule as agreed upon.
The project helps connect with Kiên Giang Province, ensuring smooth traffic, meeting the transportation needs of industrial parks, developing the economy and society, and developing tourism in the border area of the two provinces.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Nhật Tiến emphasized: On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Trade Union, I would like to express my sincere appreciation, high evaluation, and commendation of the efforts and spirit of perseverance of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, union members, and workers of the An Giang Province's Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation and Agricultural Infrastructure, as well as the coordination and facilitation of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and local authorities, and the efforts of the design units, consulting units, and construction units, and the active and responsible labor of union members and workers to complete the project ahead of schedule, ensuring that it was completed on time for the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, and ensuring the quality of the project.
On this occasion, Mr. Tiến also presented the Provincial Trade Union's Certificate of Merit to the collective and individuals who have outstanding achievements in implementing the provincial-level project welcoming the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
