Attending and chairing the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union; nearly 100 female union officials at all levels, representatives of women's associations in the boarding house area with many workers.
The program was organized by the Provincial Labor Federation to celebrate the anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union. Through this, it contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of trade unions at all levels for the work of caring for, educating and protecting children. Strengthening close coordination between trade unions and agencies and organizations in the political system to create a combined strength in the work of caring for, educating and protecting children in general and children of union members and workers in particular.
Here, union officials and women's associations of the boarding houses are trained in the following skills: parenting; health care, how to keep children healthy; recognizing, treating and preventing some diseases in children; nutritional care; intellectual development in children and playing with children; preventing child abuse; child safety; parents controlling emotions and taking care of themselves... Many of the program's contents were presented by Dr. Ngo Thi Thanh Mai.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial Labor Federation - requested that after being trained, union officials will deploy and apply it at their units with appropriate forms, ensuring practical effectiveness for union members and workers.
At the same time, it is recommended that trade unions at all levels continue to do a good job in taking care of female union members, children of union members, and workers and civil servants in the coming time. Focus on establishing and perfecting the Women's Union at grassroots trade unions. Pay attention to specific policies for female workers, gradually enhance the role of the Women's Union in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female union members, ensuring that policies are implemented in practice to support female workers to stabilize their jobs, increase their income, and fulfill their roles as wives and mothers in the family.
