On June 28, Ninh Giang Commune Trade Union, Hai Phong City organized the "Healthy and Beautiful Footsteps" Collective Running Tournament 2026, attracting more than 2,500 athletes who are officials, union members, workers, civil servants, public employees, teachers of schools and foreigners working at businesses in the area.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 and the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time create a vibrant emulation atmosphere among union members and workers.
Participating in the race, athletes simultaneously started and completed a distance of nearly 3km in a joyful and excited atmosphere. The activity not only created a playground for physical training but also strengthened exchanges and connections between agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
The race contributes to promoting the sports movement in the spirit of the Campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho", thereby spreading a healthy lifestyle, improving physical and mental health for union members and workers, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 collective prizes to the units with the largest number of participating athletes; 2 prizes for units with beautiful and impressive costumes; and awarded gold medals to the earliest male and female athletes to finish and many souvenir medals to participating collectives and individuals.
