At about 8 am on June 28, on National Highway 18, passing through group 65, Ha Khau 6 area, Viet Hung ward, Quang Ninh province, an accident occurred between a truck carrying soil and a truck carrying ice cream.
At the scene, the truck carrying ice cream with license plate 14C-379. xx was heavily damaged in the front. The car's cabin was deformed, and the driver was trapped inside.

According to initial information from functional agencies, the ice cream truck was driven by driver Vu Van T., born in 1972, residing in Tuyen Quang province. Also in the car was Ms. Vu Thi L., born in 1980, residing in Viet Hung ward, Quang Ninh province.
Immediately after the collision, people present in the area quickly broke the cabin door, coordinated with functional forces to take driver Vu Van T. out and transferred him to Bai Chay Hospital for emergency treatment.
The truck driver carrying soil was also injured in the accident.
At the scene, functional forces organized traffic diversion, mobilized cranes to move vehicles in distress and clear the road surface.
The cause of the accident, functional agencies are continuing to investigate and clarify.
