On September 13, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that from the province's relief fund, the unit has supported 44 million VND for 3 union members and workers from near-poor households in Yen Thanh commune to develop livelihood models.
Yen Thanh Commune Trade Union organized a working delegation to go to the families to hand over funds, visit and encourage union members and workers.
In which, Mr. Phan Van Danh, a worker at MLB Tenegy Co., Ltd., was supported to implement a model of raising fish, black snails, and chickens combined with growing fruit trees.
Ms. Phan Thi Phuong and Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc, workers of Maste Vina Co., Ltd., each person is supported to implement a livestock model including 1 cow and 200 meat chickens.
Three families received support from 14 - 15 million VND per household. The total cost of implementing the 3 models is 79.7 million VND, of which the support source from the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation is 44 million VND, and the remaining funding is matched by the families.
The support source helps families have more conditions to invest in breeds, develop animal husbandry, production, create additional income and gradually stabilize their lives.
The activity is one of the care programs of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to creating resources for families to develop the economy and improve their lives.
