This is the information reported at the conference summarizing the activities of the Quang Nam Provincial Federation of Labor (QFL) in 2024 held on January 10.
Notably, Quang Nam has developed 15,145 new union members, an increase of 10,767 union members/10,600 union members assigned, an increase of 56.18% over the same period in 2023.
Implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Confederation of Labor organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024, presenting 23 "Union Shelters" worth nearly 1 billion VND and 275 gifts to union members and employees in difficult circumstances.
100% of the trade unions at the grassroots level directly above organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia", thereby supporting more than 15 thousand union members and employees who suffered from work-related accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, natural disasters and fires, and were in difficult circumstances in the province, with a support level of 500 thousand VND/person, with a total amount of nearly 8 billion VND.
On this occasion, 2 individuals were awarded the title of Emulation Fighter by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 6 individuals were recognized as Creative Workers; 3 collectives received the emulation flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 19 individuals and 8 collectives received certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and many provincial-level awards.
The Quang Nam Provincial Federation of Labor was proposed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to be awarded the excellent emulation flag by the Prime Minister for its leading achievements in the 2024 South Central Coast emulation cluster.
