Innovating content, spreading effective models
On April 7, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that in the past time, trade union levels in the province have synchronously implemented many solutions to effectively implement Directive No. 06-CT/TW of the Secretariat on family work in the new situation.

With 817 grassroots trade unions and more than 300,000 union members, propaganda and dissemination of policies on building families are widely deployed. 100% of grassroots trade unions develop implementation plans, integrating the content of happy family and gender equality into their annual work programs. On average, more than 5,000 union members per year are propagated and disseminated knowledge about family, gender equality, reproductive health care and childcare.
In the past 5 years, more than 3,000 turns of workers, civil servants, and laborers have undergone periodic health check-ups, legal advice, and support for reproductive health care and childcare. The Provincial Labor Federation also directed surveys on the current situation of workers' families at many enterprises; deployed support models such as breast milk pumping and storage rooms at workplaces; supporting female workers who are pregnant and raising young children; consulting and resolving issues related to marriage and family. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened with 3 comprehensive inspections and 10 specialized inspections in 5 years, contributing to improving the effectiveness of implementation at the grassroots level.
Trade union levels have proactively innovated the content and methods of operation suitable to the working conditions of workers, especially in industrial parks. Many effective models have been maintained and replicated such as "Happy Workers' Families", "4-criteria Families", and the "Women and Happy Families" club.
The "Parent-child Connection Day" program was organized at 16 businesses, attracting a large number of union members to participate. In the period 2021-2026, more than 500 turns of Trade Union officials and female officials were trained in family organization skills; more than 200 workers participated in skills classes on caring for and educating children.
The movement to build happy families continues to be promoted. In 5 years, more than 1,200 union member families have been commended and rewarded; especially at the provincial level, 40 typical families have been honored. Every year, 100% of grassroots trade unions organize at least one propaganda activity about families; about 90% of units apply modern communication forms such as social networks and videos.
Promoting digital transformation, improving efficiency
Family work is linked to digital transformation through the digital platform of the Provincial Labor Federation, especially the Thanh Hoa Trade Union mobile application. Through the application, union members easily access propaganda materials, parenting skills, gender equality; and update good models and typical examples.

However, this work still faces difficulties such as time pressure for shift workers; the team of officials is mainly part-time; the impact of social networks changes the perception of a part of young workers; inter-sectoral coordination in some places is not synchronized.
In the coming time, Thanh Hoa Trade Union levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and flexible direction; promote the application of technology; improve the quality of the staff; strengthen inter-sectoral coordination and replicate typical family models, contributing to spreading the good values of Vietnamese families.
