With the consent of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da Ward, the Dong Da Ward Trade Union organized a conference to discuss biographies of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and delegates of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
This activity aims to help officials and union members living and working in the ward understand and accurately assess the qualifications, standards, and capacity of candidates before exercising citizenship on March 15, 2026.
The conference creates space for union members to discuss and objectively assess the suitability of candidates for the role of people's representatives.
After listening to the summary biographies of the National Assembly and People's Council candidates at all levels, the conference discussed and had 5 comments focusing on the criteria: Political bravery, leadership capacity, heart and vision; professional qualifications, process and position; ability to contribute to building a comprehensively developed country and locality, social security is promoted associated with the action program and contact with the people.
Through discussion, the majority of trade union members assessed that candidates meet the standards of qualifications and ethics, and are worthy of running for National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels.
