The Hanoi City Labor Federation is receiving the handover of grassroots trade unions from the Labor Federations of districts in the area according to the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system to operate effectively and efficiently.
In which, the My Duc District Labor Federation and the Hanoi City Labor Federation organized the handover and receipt of 13 grassroots unions under the District Labor Federation to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management. At the same time, the District Labor Federation also ended the operation of 124 grassroots unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of State budget salaries; dissolved 28 grassroots unions of the enterprise sector that were not qualified to operate.
Thuong Tin District Labor Federation also organized the handover of 98 grassroots unions under the District Labor Federation with 7,311 union members to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management. Thanh Oai District Labor Federation handed over 40 grassroots unions to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.
In addition to the grassroots trade unions received from the district Labor Federations, the City Labor Federation also received 2 trade unions at the grassroots level and 70 grassroots trade unions with 18,628 union members of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Union to work at the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
