According to a report presented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen - Vice Chairwoman of Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union, the propaganda work of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, Workers' Month is concerned by grassroots trade unions, focusing on implementing especially the work of strengthening the application of digital platforms in propaganda work, diversifying information forms (electronic newsletters, short videos, infographics), improving access efficiency.
Promoting the role of social networks, media channels such as Website, Facebook, Zalo of grassroots trade unions to propagate activities in response to Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health of trade union levels with 79 articles on fanpages, facebook, Hanoiwork of wards, of unit trade unions propagating activities of Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Implementing Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo "On a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health", the Ward Trade Union organized free health check-ups and consultations for more than 2,000 union officials, employees, and workers with a total amount of up to 5 billion VND. At this event, the Ward Trade Union signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and implementation of the welfare program "Healthcare for union members, employees, and workers" for the period 2026-2029 with BCC PHARMA Joint Stock Company; and presented 50 gifts and supported 10 cases in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of 35 million VND.
Prominent in the series of activities to care for union members during Workers' Month 2026 is the "Trade Union Meal" program. The activity not only carries the meaning of caring for daily meals but also shows the practical concern of the Trade Union organization for workers. At agencies, units, and businesses in the ward, "Trade Union Meal" is organized thoughtfully with a rich menu, ensuring nutrition and food safety and hygiene. Typical examples are grassroots Trade Unions in the school area, Trade Unions of Funeral Service Departments organizing the "Trade Union Meal" Program for more than 700 union members and workers.
In addition, in order to implement the plan of the City Labor Federation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward on overcoming 5 bottlenecks in the area, the Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union launched the model "Green Saturday - exchanging recycled waste for gifts", with the theme "For a clean and beautiful Hoan Kiem, union members join hands - responsibility of the whole people"”. This is a practical work, contributing to creating a green living environment, so everyone participates very enthusiastically. Not only stopping at collecting waste, the model also contributes to changing the living habits of each family towards being environmentally friendly.
Associated with Workers' Month, Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union also promotes the implementation of "Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions". The Ward Trade Union has coordinated with functional sectors to promote propaganda for workers, raise awareness, and voluntarily participate in trade union organizations, especially at non-state-owned enterprises.
Results achieved in "Workers' Month 2026", Trade Union levels have established 10 grassroots trade unions, admitted 266 union members, and received 2 grassroots trade unions from the Civil Servants' Union to participate in activities at Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union.
On this occasion, the Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Police Trade Union and philanthropists to implement the program "Journey to Connect Love" to support and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances in Dak Lak province, worth 120 million VND.
The practical and close activities of the Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union have contributed to affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; and at the same time building a united and humane working environment at agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
Speaking at the Conference summarizing Workers' Month, Mr. Dinh Sy Dat - Chairman of Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union emphasized that one of the tasks of the last 6 months of the year is to widely launch the emulation movement "Good Labor - High Productivity - Good Income" among all union members and workers. This will be the central emulation movement of the Ward Trade Union in the last 6 months of 2026 to arouse the spirit of creativity, responsibility, labor discipline, promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation, improve working processes, and improve productivity, quality, and work efficiency.
On this occasion, Hoan Kiem Ward Trade Union awarded prizes for the AI publication creativity contest "Hoan Kiem Trade Union Innovation - Connecting to reach far" and received 2 grassroots trade unions.
