On the morning of March 22, the announcement ceremony and draw for the 2025 Southern Ta Pha Cup 7-a-side Championship took place. In the second edition, the tournament has improved the scale and quality of the participating teams and especially increased the total prize money to nearly 200 million VND, in which the prize for the champion will be a trophy and cash of 100 million VND.
The 2025 Southern Ta Pha Cup 7-a-side championship will take place from March 29 to April 13 at PM Sport football field (HCMC) with the participation of 12 teams including: Home team Ta Pha FC, Pima, Khoi Nguyen and Sunsea in Group A. Group B with the participation of An Bien, Dai Dong Son, Hong Kong 1 and Thai Binh Gia Bao.
Hoang Nong Thao Vy, Xanh Minh Canh, AE Tu Nghia and MNC are in Group C. The teams will compete in a round-robin, selecting the 2 first and second teams in each group and the 2 third-placed teams with the best results in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
The 2025 Ta Pha Cup 7-a-side championship is considered an event to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of TAPHALAW a unit operating in the Law sector. The tournament not only promotes the development of grassroots football in Ho Chi Minh City in particular but also the South in general.
Gathering strong teams, quality amateur players, former futsal players, former V.League specialists... will help the tournament improve its quality and become known by many people. It is known that in parallel with the tournament, the Organizing Committee will also organize charity activities in parallel to contribute to the Hanh Trinh Nhan Ai Fund.
In the previous season, the Organizing Committee and the Nhan Ai Tourism Fund also raised more than 200 million VND to buy 140 bicycles, supporting disadvantaged students before the new school year.
