On the evening of March 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province coordinated with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Vietnam and the Vietnam figure Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Beach figure Championship and Youth Championship in Vung Tau City.
The tournament attracted nearly 350 athletes from 26 participating units, competing in the Beach event Championship and Youth Beach event Championship for men and women in weight categories.
According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament is organized in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the province; a playground for athletes to demonstrate their talents and opportunities for the beach vat movement to develop more strongly across the country.
At the same time, it helps improve the qualifications of the athlete force, review to select athletes to participate in other international competitions in 2025 and the 2026 World Youth Olympic Sports Festival.
The tournament is held outdoors in public areas to bring a new experience to both athletes and spectators. Helping people and tourists get closer to this traditional and combat sports, contributing to spreading the spirit of sportsmanship in the community to promote the local image.
With the martial arts spirit and the dedication of the athletes, the tournament promises to bring fierce and dramatic competitions, taking place from March 14 to March 18.
