On December 28, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize the 3rd Social Security Golf Tournament in 2024.
This year, the Social Security Golf Tournament attracted 100 golfers from agencies, units, and businesses inside and outside the province. According to the organizers, 43 businesses registered to support with a total amount of more than 9.2 billion VND.
The entire amount is expected to be allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee into 7,000 gifts so that localities in the province can promptly encourage and practically care for people in difficult circumstances to have a warm and full Lunar New Year 2025; ensuring publicity, transparency, right purpose, right recipient.
After 2 years of organization, the Provincial Social Security Golf Tournament has deployed and carried out many meaningful activities, aiming at the poor and people in difficult circumstances; with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND and 11 solidarity houses.
“The Provincial Social Security Golf Tournament is one of the practical and meaningful activities of businesses, organizations and individuals in accompanying the province in implementing social security work, especially during the Tet holiday”, said Mr. Le Hong Ngoc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The Ba Ria - Vung Tau Social Security Golf Tournament opens and competes on December 28. After the competition, the organizing committee will summarize and award prizes to golfers with high achievements.
